TEXAS SENATE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Dear Applicant,

We appreciate your interest in seeking employment with the Texas State Senate. The Texas Senate does not list vacant positions. When a Senate office has a vacant position, they contact our office for applications that meet the qualifications specific to their needs. Our office fills those requests from our active applicant pool. Applications should be submitted to our office in order to be placed into our applicant pool. The employment application you submit to the Senate will be reviewed by the Director of Senate Human Resources and placed in our active pool for an initial ninety (90) day period. To continue your active status for another 90 day increment, you must contact the Senate Human Resources Department prior to the 90 day expiration.

In addition to the Texas Senate application, you will find a list of general job titles with brief descriptions. These job titles are to be used strictly as a "guide" to complete the section of your application requiring a position title. They are not necessarily vacant positions, but what you would be qualified for now or in the future for possible job opportunities.

If you have any questions or if we may provide any additional information, please contact our office.

Thank you for expressing an interest in the Texas Senate.
