§ Sets out the boundaries of the single-member districts
for the Texas Senate.
§ Provides that these districts apply beginning with the
primary and general elections in 1998 for the members of the 76th
Legislature.
§ States that this apportionment constitutes a continuation
of the districts established by the 72nd Legislature, as modified
by a federal court order, and it is the legislature's intent that
this bill is not an apportionment of the senate under the Texas
Constitution.
