Senator Rodríguez to take part in El Paso Community College Panel on Migration and Immigration

Event part of EPCC Hispanic Heritage Month activities

EL PASO — Senator José Rodríguez will participate in a panel discussion on migration and immigration tonight at the El Paso Community College Transmountain Campus. The event is part of EPCC's Hispanic Heritage 2012 series of events, with the theme "Migration: Ancient Pathways, Modern Promise."

In addition to Senator Rodríguez, this evening's discussion will feature attorneys Carlos Spector, Ouisa Davis, and Arturo Hernandez as panelists, and Iliana Holguin as moderator.

Among the topics to be discussed are migration in a historical context, current immigration issues in our community, and immigration legislation at state and federal levels.
