Laredo Delegation Visits Capitol Today
| What: |
A City of Laredo delegation will visit the State Capitol today (Wednesday) and meet with legislators, state officials and representatives from state agencies as part of Laredo Legislative Day. Senator Judith Zaffirini, D-Laredo, will honor the delegation with Senate Resolution 18, officially welcoming the mayor, city council members and other officials and businesspersons to the State Capitol. At noon, Laredo's own Martin High School Mariachi Band will perform in the Capitol Rotunda. What's more, all are invited to the Laredo Legislative Day reception at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel, 6-9 p.m. |
