Deuell Recognized for Perfect Attendance During Session
(Austin) - State Senator Robert F. Deuell (R - Greenville) has been recognized for a perfect attendance record for the 79th Regular Session of the Texas Legislature. Deuell was notified in a letter from Ms. Patsy Spaw, Secretary of the Senate.
"The Texas Senate has completed it official records for the 79th Legislature, Regular Session, pertaining to attendance and votes" Spaw wrote. "During the session, you were present 85 of the 85 days the Senate convened. Missing only one record vote, you maintained a 99.9 percentage of the 4152 total roll call and record votes taken."
"You are to be commended for your excellent record," Spaw continued. "Your attendance and voting record demonstrate dedication and remarkable commitment to your duties as a State Senator and the people of the 2nd Senatorial District. Congratulations on your exceptional record of achievement."
Senator Deuell has maintained a 100% attendance record in every regular session of the Texas Legislature since being elected to the Senate in 2002.
