DEUELL STATEMENT ON SPECIAL SESSION
"Improving the quality of education in our state is the most important challenge facing Texas today. I am pleased that the governor has called on us to meet this challenge now and we will work hard to find solutions that are in the best interest of students, educators, and taxpayers. I am already meeting with constituents throughout District 2 to get their views on this issue and look forward to continuing this during the coming session."
