San Antonio, TX -- State Senator Carlos I. Uresti will be participating in the 2007 "Abrazo Amistad" parade as part of the Fiesta Amistad celebrations on Saturday, October 20, 2007 in Del Rio, Texas.

"I am excited and honored to be in this year's parade. Meeting and visiting with constituents is always a pleasure" said Sen. Uresti. "The strong tradition of this weekend's festivities is an excellent example of the relationship between our great State of Texas and our neighbors in Ciudad Acuña in Coahuila, Mexico."

Sen. Uresti plans to walk through Greenwood Park after the parade, making himself available for constituents and the media to answer questions, take photos, and enjoy the afternoon.
