Senator Ellis, Cory Session, Anthony Robinson, and Jeff Blackburn to Hold Press Conference for Release of TCAP Recommendations and Harris County Public Defender Office Application
(Austin, Texas) — Senator Rodney Ellis; Cory Session, Tim Cole's brother; Texas exoneree Anthony Robinson; and Jeff Blackburn, founder and chief counsel of the Innocence Project of Texas, will hold a press conference tomorrow, Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 1pm in the Senate Press Room to discuss the release of the Tim Cole Advisory Panel's recommendations and Harris County's public defender office grant application. Both issues will be taken up tomorrow at a meeting of the Texas Task Force on Indigent Defense.
