Estes Names New Chief of Staff
Austin - State Senator Craig Estes (R-Wichita Falls) named Noe Barrios as Chief of Staff to replace Lewis Simmons, who recently announced that he would be leaving the Office of Senator Estes to pursue other interests.
"Lewis has worked tirelessly for my office and the people of Senate District 30, and I wish him all the best as he embarks on the next phase of his career," said Estes. "I want to thank him for his years of service to the Texas Legislature and the citizens of our great state."
Noe Barrios most recently served as Legislative Director to Senator Estes, a post he has held for the past three years, and served prior to that four years as a House Committee Clerk and ten years as Chief of Staff in the Texas House.
Senator Estes is Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and represents Senate District 30 covering Archer, Baylor, Clay, Collin (part), Cooke, Denton (part), Grayson, Jack, Montague, Parker, Palo Pinto, Shackelford, Stephens, Throckmorton, Wichita, Wilbarger, Wise, and Young counties.
