Senator Craig Estes statement on the passing of Chet Upham

Austin - State Senator Craig Estes (Wichita Falls-R) issued the following statement in response to the passing of Mineral Wells resident and longtime Republican leader Chet Upham.

"My wife Jennifer and I are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of our good friend Chet Upham, and our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Virginia and the entire Upham family. I was honored that he was my constituent, and I valued his friendship, support and counsel. Chet was a legendary pioneer in helping to grow the Republican Party of Texas. He will be missed and remembered for his outstanding leadership and contributions to the State of Texas."
