State Senator Craig Estes delivered the opening prayer for the fourth called special session

State Senator Craig Estes, R-Wichita Falls, delivered the opening prayer when the fourth special session of the 78th Texas Legislature got underway April 20 in Austin. Estes quoted an old English hymn stating, "All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all." Among requests included in his prayer, Estes asked that the Legislature might accomplish "something wise and wonderful for our children and grandchildren."
