Deuell recognized for voting record
AUSTIN — State Senator Bob Deuell, R - Greenville, this week was recognized for achieving a 99.9 percent voting record during the 82nd Legislative Session.
"Your attendance and voting record demonstrate your dedication and remarkable commitment to your duties as a state senator and the people of Senatorial District 2," Secretary of the Senate Patsy Spaw wrote in a letter to Deuell.
Deuell missed only five of 4,048 record votes and was present for 99 percent of the roll calls taken for attendance. He has maintained a 99 or 100 percent voting record in every regular session of the Texas Legislature since being elected to the Senate in 2002.
