Deuell Sworn in for Third Term

AUSTIN — Senator Bob Deuell (R - Greenville) was sworn in for his third term Tuesday at the opening of the 82nd Legislative Session in Austin.

"I am incredibly humbled that the citizens of Senate District Two have sent me back to Austin to fight for them," said Deuell.

Sen. Deuell currently serves as chairman of the Senate Nominations Committee and sits on the Senate Finance, Natural Resources, State Affairs, and Health and Services committees.

"This is not going to be an easy session and my colleagues and I are going to have to make a number of difficult decisions," said Deuell. "But I look forward to working with them to find common sense, conservative solutions to the problems facing our state."
