Interim Committee to Study Dyslexia and Related Disorders Schedules First Hearing
AUSTIN — The Interim Committee to Study Dyslexia and Related Disorders will hold its first hearing on Wednesday, April 28, at 2 p.m in the Capitol Extension, at which both public and invited testimony will be heard. The committee was created by House Bill 461 of the 81st Legislative session, to study and recommend legislation to increase awareness, early detection and treatment of dyslexia and related disorders. Two senators and two House members join five public members appointed by Gov. Perry to serve on the committee.
