Deuell Recognized for Perfect Attendance During Session
AUSTIN — State Senator Robert F. Deuell (R - Greenville) has been recognized for a perfect attendance record for the 81st Regular Session of the Texas Legislature. Deuell was notified in a letter from Ms. Patsy Spaw, Secretary of the Senate.
"The Senate has completed it official records for the 81st Legislature, Regular Session, pertaining to attendance and record votes," Spaw wrote. "During the session, you were present for 100 percent of the roll calls taken for attendance. Missing only two record votes, you maintained a 99.9 percent voting record of the 4,778 record votes taken."
"You are to be commended for your excellent record," Spaw continued. "Your attendance and voting record demonstrate your dedication and remarkable commitment to your duties as a State Senator and the people of Senatorial District 2. Congratulations on your exceptional record of achievement."
Senator Deuell has maintained a 100% attendance record in every regular session of the Texas Legislature since being elected to the Senate in 2002.
