New Addition to District Staff
I am pleased to announce the addition of a new staff member to my Greenville District Office. Ms. Jeannie Weeks of Greenville began work this month and is eager to begin serving and assisting the citizens of Senate District Two.
Prior to joining the staff in Greenville, Jeannie worked for 13 years in healthcare, most recently as Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator for the Craniofacial Pain Center in Rockwall. She is a 1987 graduate of Greenville Christian School and a 1992 graduate of East Texas State University (Texas A&M Commerce). She is also the mother of five year old twin boys.
I am proud to welcome Jeannie to my staff. Please feel free to contact any staff member at any time. For your convenience, I am including information for the rest of my staff in this update as well.
Mr. Matt Wolff - Regional Director, Greenville District Office. Matt serves as director for the Greenville region of Senate District Two. Matt has worked in the district office since 2003, and also served as a full-time legislative aide in Austin during the 79th Legislative Session.
Ms. Jeannie Weeks - Deputy Regional Director, Greenville District Office.
The Greenville office handles casework and inquiries from constituents in the following counties: Fannin, Hunt, Delta, Rains, Hopkins, Van Zandt and Smith.
Ms. Linda Kagy - Regional Director, Mesquite District Office. Linda has worked in the district office since 2003, and oversees operations for the Mesquite region of Senate District Two. In addition, Linda handles all scheduling inquiries during the interim between legislative sessions.
Ms. Cindy Burkett - Deputy Regional Director, Mesquite District Office. Cindy began as an intern in the Mesquite office in 2003 and is now a full-time employee. In addition to her duties in the district, Cindy served as a full-time legislative aide during the 79th Legislative Session.
The Mesquite office handles casework and inquiries from constituents in Rockwall, Kaufman and Dallas counties.
Mr. Todd Gallaher - Chief of Staff. Todd has served as my chief of staff for the last two legislative sessions. Having previously served for three other Senators, Todd brings over a decade of Capitol experience to the job.
Mr. Scot Kibbe - Legislative Director. Scot began working for me in 2003 after leaving the Texas branch of the American Heart Association. Prior to that, Scot worked for two Senators and is a veteran of seven legislative sessions at the Capitol.
Mr. Don Forse - Communications Director. Don began working at the Capitol in 1999, and started with me in January of 2003. He has worked four legislative sessions at the Capitol.
Ms. Stefanie Agan - Staff Assistant. Stefanie began as an intern at the Capitol office in December of 2003 and has become an invaluable member of my staff. A senior at the University of Texas at Austin, Stefanie is scheduled to graduate in December of 2005.
The Capitol office handles all legislative issues as well as press inquiries. In addition, the Capitol office takes care of all scheduling inquiries during legislative sessions.
