Due to technical limitations, out-of-town committee hearings and "desk meetings" held on the Senate floor can not be carried live. For such events, audio recordings will be posted to the main Audio/Video Archive, as well as the relevant committee pages, as soon as possible.

The Texas Senate has an assistive listening system available to the public in the Senate Chamber and Senate committee hearing rooms. Personal listening devices may be checked out in the Secretary of the Senate's office, Room 2E.22 of the Capitol Building.
