Panhandle-South Plains Day

Over 200 residents from throughout the Panhandle and South Plains converged on the Texas Capitol on Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Elected officials, citizens and leaders from Amarillo, Lubbock and the surrounding communities met with members of the 80th Legislature to discuss various matters of importance from wind energy and water to transportation and economic development.
