December 1, 2008 (HOUSTON) - State Senator Rodney Ellis is announcing legislation to routinize HIV testing in accordance with the 2006 CDC recommendations. Councilmember Wanda Adams, Councilmember Sue Lovell, former City Councilmember Ada Edwards, Stephen Williams, Dena Gray, and Jeffrey Campbell will present as well.

December 1, 2008 marks the 20th annual World AIDS Day. This year's theme is "leadership." The slogan for the World AIDS Campaign from 2005-2010 is "Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise."
