On Thursday, "Texas 11" members Senator Rodney Ellis and Senator Mario Gallegos will be welcomed home from New Mexico at a ceremony at the Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. The event will include short speeches from the Senators and other elected officials.

There will also be a brief service in memoriam of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001

This will be the first media opportunity and photo op for Senator Ellis and Senator Gallegos upon their return to Houston.
