Statement from Senator Seliger on the Denial of the Keystone Pipeline Permit

"During a time of economic uncertainty, the Keystone XL Project would have provided a significant opportunity for additional stability and security with our nation's energy supply. This decision will not only result in a loss of thousands of much-needed jobs for American workers, but will also send billions of dollars in potential tax revenues out of the United States. This decision is yet another example of the federal government's detest and calculated denigration of the oil and gas industry, and its unwillingness to achieve real energy independence."
